We recommend sending your flowers as soon as possible to preserve their colour. While some flowers last up to two weeks, they begin wilting at that point, so the sooner they arrive, the better for the drying process.

What is Flower Preservation in Resin ?
Flower Preservation in resin involves encapsulating flowers in a clear resin to create long lasting and visually appealing pieces of art such as ornaments.
Do you offer any other flower preservation methods apart from resin?
Yes, we offer a framing service or to have your flowers placed in a bell jar. The flowers would be dried the same way as if they were to go in resin and then carefully preserved using preservation sprays and resin before being arranged in your chosen product. Sometimes we will enhance the colours for these two specific methods of preservation.
Can you only preserve fresh flowers?
No, this is not the case at all. I can encapsulate fresh, dry and artificial flowers.
Are there any flowers you can not preserve
Yes, I can not accept any Anthuriums as they have a waxy coating which prevents them from drying out. A lot of customers ask if I can preserve succulent’s – I will always say no to succulent’s as they a full of water as are most cactus type plants. These shrivel up on drying and do not keep their colour or form.
Can you add non floral items to the preservation?
Absolutely. We often get asked to preserve other memorabilia such as pins, ribbons, charms, jewellery, hair and fur. Many things can be included in your preservation so feel free to speak to us or send us the other pieces your would like included in the final display.
Do I have to dry my flowers myself?
No, absolutely not. I will take care of this for you unless you have pre dried flowers you would like me to preserve.
For reference on how long it takes for flowers to dry you can view our Flower Drying Chart here
How long will my Preserved flowers last
We use a high quality UV resistant resin for our preservations as well as some preservation sprays. This will enable your flowers to last for a lifetime however we can not guarantee there will not be any yellowing of the resin over the years, and no fade in the flowers. The best way to keep your preservation pieces looking as good as new is to keep them away from direct sunlight and display them in a consistent room temperature where they wont be exposed to moisture.
I am getting married abroad - can I still preserve my flowers?
Yes – you can still preserve your flowers. We recommend our destination preservation kit so you can get the best out of your flowers. It is up t the customer to check restrictions with the country of travel for taking flowers in and out of the country.
We can still work with the flowers if you do not purchase the destination preservation kit however the flowers may not last as well to get back to the UK.

Yes, absolutely. Frozen milk is suitable for preservation to create your jewellery pieces. Even if the milk has been sat in the freezer for many years, we can still use this milk to create your jewellery. All we request is the milk is fully thawed before posting.
How much milk do I need?
We need 10ml of milk to create your Forever Milk Drops jewellery. We always recommend keeping some in the freezer at home in case of loss through postage as a back-up.
I'm having trouble expressing milk, what should I do?
Take your time and try to express a small amount daily. We can work with as little as 8ml. You can add to your milk every day, just keep it in a airtight container in the fridge. It does not matter if it takes weeks to express.
What happens to any leftover milk?
We will keep this stored safely for up to 6 months in powder form, so if you wanted to order any more pieces it will be possible.
Will my preservation jewellery look exactly like your pictures?
Each drop of milk is unique and holds it own colouring which can differ very slightly. The jewellery findings are all the same as in the photos and will not differ however the milk drops are made by hand and are all unique. We will do our best to replicate the photo you see on the website however due to the nature of the milk drops being handmade there is always a possibility of a very slight variation in pieces.
Is my jewellery suitable for everyday use?
Yes, it is as all our jewellery is set on 925 sterling silver, however, please bear in mind that the Milk Drop is made from the milk inclusion and resin, there are care instructions to follow for this:
– Do not submerge your jewellery pieces in water. Remove your jewellery when showering or washing dishes. Resin is not waterproof so this will cause damage to your Milk Drops.
– Do not expose your jewellery pieces to direct sunlight when its not being worn. Keep it stored in a dry place such as a jewellery box or its original packaging.
– Do not expose your jewellery to chemicals, perfumes, and lotions. – Keep your jewellery away from high temperatures as this will damage your Milk Drops.
– Although we use a high-grade resin it can still chip, become scratched and break if knocked. So please be careful when wearing your jewellery.
How do I clean my Jewellery?
Please use a silver jewellery polishing cloth to clean your jewellery which is provided with your Milk Drops Jewellery.
Do you work with any other bodily fluid?
The answer is NO. we only work with Breastmilk inclusion.
