The Drying Process and Colour Changes
When you place your order, you understand all our products are bespoke. You are agreeing to the understanding that flowers can change colour and shape as they dry. Your flowers may darken or change tone or colour, and they tend to shrink a little. Some flowers dry a lot better than others – this will depend on the type of flower and the age of the flower, if your arrangement is all one type of flower or you have concerns over their suitability feel free to message us to discuss this. All white flowers will go more of an off white or cream colour once dried.
There is a possibility that the flowers may become dull over time. There is a possibility that flowers may bleed colour. We do not offer a touch up service on flowers as standard practice so if your flowers are discoloured on arrival this is how they will look in resin, this is not a fault. When we do touch up flowers (mainly for box frames and pressed frames) we will match the colour as close as possible, there is always a possibility there could be a slight difference as we are enhancing a natural product with an artificial colour, It is not always possible to get the colours of the flowers to match exactly.
Resin Notice
Due to the nature of resin, and flowers being a natural product, once the flowers are submerged additional bruising to flowers may show up – we have no control over this. This will depend on how flowers were handled before arriving to us.
We use a high-quality UV resistant resin for all our pieces. Although we use a UV stable resin, all resin will amber overtime. We do not take any responsibility for resin pieces which turn yellow/amber as there is no way to know how much UV exposure the items have had. All pieces are sent out with care instructions.
Please keep your resin pieces away from direct sunlight and chemicals (perfume, polishes, cleaning sprays, soaps etc). Resin can be wiped over with a slightly damp cloth if needed. Resin can scratch so keep it away from rough/sharp surfaces.
Handmade Notice
All our resin work is handmade. Please expect some small bubbles within your items, sometimes on the surface. We work very hard to minimise these, but it is the nature of flowers to trap air within the petals, so it is sometimes unavoidable.
Layer lines may be visible on your finished pieces this cannot always be avoided. These will look lines across the side of your pieces.
Due to the handmade nature of the product and the use of dried flowers it is possible for small breakages to happen when the flowers are submerged. The product is fluid and as such small pieces may move. Every care is made during the process to get the very best from the flowers you send. We reserve the right to refuse production if flowers arrive damaged or dead.
Every piece we make is one of a kind, so we consider small imperfections to be part of the charm of a handmade piece. As your items are handmade, they will not look like they have been manufactured by machine. As a result of handcrafted items every single item has a unique quality.
Resin products will have a slight variation either caused by making or during the finishing of your products. Micro-bubbles, dust, uneven edging and small cavities (small holes caused through air bubbles) are not classed as faults.
The sides may not be as shiny as the front of your preservation piece – this is not a defect.
On some occasions there is the possibility of the shapes / letters having a very slight inward or outward bulge due to the weight of the resin and the shape and size of the flowers. We do our best to minimise this, but it cannot always be avoided.
The letters F and P will not stand.
The letters and keyrings and trinkets may on occasion have an uneven back due to flowers being larger than the moulds.
Every effort is made to ensure colours appear as realistic as possible on pre-made items; however, this sometimes depends on different web browsers, we cannot guarantee exact colours. Measurements on all products are approximate and vary according to size of the item.
Frames
All frames are made to order by a trusted supplier – These frames are not manufactured in-house; so we have no control over their manufacturing process and the way the outer frame sits together on corners.
We make all the date and name elements in resin at our studio and cut the vinyl lettering ourselves. We sometimes score the card very lightly to be able to make sure things are placed correctly and in a straight line. This may sometimes be visible from a close distance once you receive your order. This is not classed as a fault but part of the making of the product.
Cake stands
Cake stand bases can vary from time to time as this will depend on supplier availability, we have no control over supplier issues. We will always use stands that are similar in shape and colour and do our best to minimise any disruption to our service by using alternate bases (this only applies to gold bases). There is always some play and movement in resin cake stands mounted on a gold base. They will be more solid if you opt for the resin base which will be made from your petals/flowers. The cake stands are very thin so we cannot guarantee we will be able to add any whole flowers. The cake stands are made with pressed petals and foliage.
The 3 tier afternoon tea stand needs to be stored flat. If it is not stores correctly there is a chance it will become uneven and even bend.
Tealight Holder
Our tealight holders are made from resin. Real tealights get very hot which can damage the resin holders therefore we do not recommend using real tealights in the holders.

Sterling silver jewellery can tarnish when not used, to avoid this store in a dry jewellery box or the packaging it arrived in. Design and Flower Placement
Placement of the flowers will be arranged by our artists using the flowers provided by the customer. We can’t always go by the precise design or specification by the customer for flower placement as it may not be suitable for the mould in which the order is being made. If you do have a suggestion of floral placement, please make sure you have advised this in a written note with your flowers. Flowers are a natural product so there is not a theme or set pattern we follow. We use our professional judgment to place your flowers in the most suited positions when designing and completing orders.
We will do our best to use as many of your flowers as possible, however please note we may not use all of the flowers provided. We will use the flowers which have dried the best
If you have large flowers and have chosen a small mould, we may need to deconstruct your flowers to make them fit. On some occasions we will only use petals.
